I started looking into Reiki because my step mum had MS. Many of the MS patients at the drop in were receiving treatment from a healer and said it really did help to alleviate pain. I have been into meditation and mind training for some years, but this was an entirely new spiritual level of learning. I read up a lot about Reiki, and one thing that put me off was how much certification was. From what I understood reiki can be learned by anyone who believes in energy and natural healing, which I certainly do. But many places were selling courses like it was a university diploma. The other thing is, there is no official reiki certification, only learning the basics and then going forward with your natural affinity for spirituality, energy, higher consciousness and human connection to help others.
So rather than pay the $2000 at the local Reiki healing centre, I went online as I often do and looked for possible
options. I found Bruce Wilson's course. He is a master of 15 years and now teaches an extremely fast track program
to learning Reiki. He says 48 hours, but for me I spent 2 weeks really drilling the teachings home and making sure
I was confident in my abilities. I also believe you need to have a passion for energy flow, meditation and
spirituality to really get the most from Reiki. Anyway, 2 weeks later I had completed my Usui Reiki Healing Master course and was assisting the healer at the MS drop in. The course gives you everything you need, including level 1, level 2 and the master level certificates. You get the healing system, full email support from Bruce throughout, and even 120 minutes of Reiki music to accompany you during sessions. Conclusion
For the money I am 100% sure there isn't a better Reiki course around, certainly not one you can do
from the comfort of your home. I am living proof that you can do the course and start practicing. I
also truly believe that having this knowledge has brought increased happiness and love into my life.
I highly recommend this for any aspiring Reiki master.
